Stowaway is Pattern Is Movement’s largest release to date, gaining radio play and larger distribution through iTunes.

The music is heavy and warm with a melodic falsetto carrying the complex guitar rhythms. To capture the headiness of the music, we made original paintings for the background, combing red wine and oils on heavy paper and using broad, sweeping dry-brush strokes to create a wave effect. Antique line drawings were appropriated from a turn of the century encyclopedia and arranged to look like ancient sailing charts and declarations of travel.
